We have made it to Harmony and this principle is one of my favorites, because it suggests that everything is connected, and that there is no such thing as a coincidence. There are no coincidences in the world of harmony, only lessons. Everything happens for a reason. Harmony is when there is an agreement or accord. To be in harmony it requires consistency, order, and balance to be present. To be in order it requires actions. The actions of consistency, order, and balance are all the little things that we do daily that determine if we are growing or reaching our goals or not.
Let’s be honest, Harmony is a lot easier to talk about than it is to actually obtain. But we can obtain it if we bring awareness and creativity to each challenge that comes up, and be willing to adapt things as our situation or environment changes. It also requires that we not get discouraged when we find that things do not go as we had hoped. Understanding that change is an inevitable part of life allows us the flexibility to create new solutions when problems occur. Harmony is a lens through which we can view any situation. It highlights the value of consistency and order, freedom from chaos and inconsistency, and a desire to avoid inner conflict. Finding harmony in your life means being loving, embracing peace of mind, living with enthusiasm, cultivating centering effects, promoting intimate relationships, managing work-related relationships, staying focused on common goals, committing to ideals that transcend money and status.
Enough of that, here is your proverb:
“The spring makes the stream flow.”
