Sowing and Reaping (7 Ways to unleash the power of reciprocity)

Great Ujamaa

On this great day of Ujamaa we are looking at the power within the cycle of reciprocity. The power to overcome failure, the power to lead yourself and those around you, and the power to build strong communities that break the shackles of poverty.

1. Understand the importance of reciprocity

2. Align with it

3. Believe your life reflect this principle

4. Work to find opportunities to give and live in this way

5. Actively seek reciprocity amongst your friends, family and colleagues

6. Use technology to build your network of support

7. Embrace the challenges and hurdles as steps toward success

Great Ujamaa:

I am excited today, woke up and don't have to rush out, and I am thinking about doing a podcast today. It is becoming clear to me that my podcast supplements the writing. When I hit the mic it gives me an opportunity to explain more in depth the idea I am trying to get across. I am beginning to miss the daily grind, but I am enjoying the fact that I have extra time in the morning. It actually feels good to get to the adventure early.

today i want to talk about the principle of reciprocity. For those that have been tuning in to GNJMedia for a while you know that Ujamaa goes hand in hand with reciprocity and gratitude. These 3 principles are the heartbeat of our culture. It pains to admit this because I am a Kujichagulia baby, but it was these 3 principles lining up in the way that they did that gave me a hint that Gye-Nyame was on the right path. Join us on this great day of Ujamaa as we look into the power within the cycle of reciprocity. Which gives you the power to overcome failure, the power to lead yourself and those around you, and the power to build strong communities that break the shackles of poverty. The cycle of reciprocity is nothing new. It is a cycle that has existed since the beginning of time. A cycle that every generation has witnessed yet few have fully understood or engaged in. It is an ancient ritual, an ancient worship service, a baptism into the mysteries of life. By taking the time to study this principle we become better, and learn to use its cycles to build up ourselves and those around us.

The cycle of reciprocity is a natural law that cannot be broken by man. It is like a mathematical equation; if you change one variable or do not follow it precisely it will not work for you. You can't change its rules; you can only reap what you sow according to its principles and laws. This principle is always working, whether you are aware or not. By learning about it and abiding by its rules you become a more powerful person. The universal principle is this: Whatever you put out into the universe will come back to you multiplied. This law works in everything we do, in our thoughts, words and deeds, in our relationships with ourselves and others and even in our physical actions such as sowing seeds in the ground or throwing things into space (like rockets). The universe will return multiples of what we put out. Here are 7 ways to unleash this power of reciprocity in your life:

1. Understand the importance of reciprocity

2. Align with it

3. Believe your life reflect this principle

4. Work to find opportunities to give and live in this way

5. Actively seek reciprocity amongst your friends, family and colleagues

6. Use technology to build your network of support

7. Embrace the challenges and hurdles as steps toward success
