Reaching For An Impossible Dream

Great Kujichagulia:

If you want to reach for something incredible, you first have to believe in yourself. You have to believe that you’re capable of achieving whatever it is you want — financial freedom, personal growth, or a meaningful career. If you get into the habit of reaching for your dreams every single day, you will eventually achieve them. The most important thing is to be able to believe in yourself and keep pushing forward no matter how many times you fall down.

To achieve your goals, it helps to take small steps daily and build momentum towards a big goal. But either way, you need to be willing to work and stay focused on what you want. Remember: There's no such thing as failure if you fail forward! In Gye-Nyame we use the #224selfhelpprocess to help move us toward our impossible goals. The idea is to put in 2 hours within every 24 hour period working on our dreams. At first it is very hard, but of course by taking small steps you will build up the endurance to reach 2 hours and beyond. On this day of Kujichagulia it’s your choice. You can opt to just go with the flow, and take what comes your way. Or you can choose to be bold and daring — someone who boldly reaches for his or her dreams. So ask yourself: what do I want? Dare to be courageous. Dare to achieve something extraordinary! Here are some questions for those on the #NguzoSabachallenge:

What is your biggest dream right now? What do you want to reach for?

When you set your mind on a goal, what holds you back?

What is one thing you want to do in your life that you believe can't be done?

What achievement are you most proud of?

What is one thing about you that most people don't know?

Here is your proverb of the day:

Vision quest should be continuous.
