Are you Driving or Are you being Driven

Habari Gani:

Kwanzaa Season is an opportunity to reflect on the seven principles of Kwanzaa, Kujichagulia being principle number two. It is a process of self-determination, self-realization and self-determination that goes beyond superficial desires. Are you driving your life or are you being driven by somebody or something? Do you know the difference? What advances have we made since Kwanzaa last time? This year I wonder if Kwanzaa is more of a feel good holiday than one that brings about that change. How do we move this holiday past a cliche Black holiday to something that gives us the life and freedom we deserve. Take some time today to answer this question and think about where you need to exercise Kujichagulia in your life.

Here is your proverb:

"What you may call small another will call it big."
