In today's show let's look at the importance of keeping your eyes on the prize. The primary focus of goal setting is to achieve all that you set out to accomplish. This can be quite challenging because we are constantly faced with distractions both internally and externally. It does not matter what area of life you are focused on just as long as you choose a positive goal that you can find joy in even if it takes a minute or several years to accomplish.

We are all here on this earth for a reason. We have a sense that there is something greater than ourselves or what we can grasp in the world of physical sensation. Like the ocean we find ourselves pulled in and out of this material existence which brings us to our knees at times. We long for peace, happiness and harmony. Everything we do as goal oriented people does not have this as there primary purpose. Instead of setting focused goals you are faced with distractions, distractions and more distractions. There is so much potential to experience by meshing your life with the world, your work, friends and even family. But it's easy to lose yourself from time to time. Sure you want to do good but at what cost is doing good worth it? This is where the distraction comes in where we end up feeling bad about who we are and how we are living our life.

Keeping your eyes on the prize is a phrase that is often used in sports and other competitive environments. It means that you must stay focused on your ultimate objective, regardless of the challenges you face. Keeping your eyes on the prize can be applied to many areas of life where we want to make big strides in our development from a personal, professional or spiritual standpoint. In fact, it can be applied to all aspects of life because it is so important to remain focused on your goals despite distractions and other obstacles that may present themselves along the way. When it comes to your goals, you must have laser-like focus if you are going to succeed in accomplishing what you set out to do.
