Respect, Responsibility, & Reciprocity

Great Day Fam:

I am pleased to be able to stand in 2023 and greet you with another email. I really want to take time to thank those who are taking the time to open, read, and in some cases click the links. As I stated in the last email, my goal this year is to focus on our email list, and I am going to strive to build it up. In the last email, I said that I have a fear of wealth, but I must admit that this fear is connected to what I was taught about wealth in this west asian system. I was taught that wealth is an individual property. Which means that if I wanted to get rich and build wealth, I needed to leave my world. I would need to leave my people, friends and family behind. Wealth requires me to sacrifice all I hold dear and move into a world of evil, vampiric individuals by myself. This caused a 40 year conflict for me. This idea of wealth clashed with something deep in my soul. First, I grew up in a home and around people that helped each other. My grandmother not only opened her house for family but she opened it up for friends in need especially those that were coming from down south to change their lives.This demonstrated the power of community for me. Second, I ran into the Nguzo Saba and began researching my cultural roots that laid the foundation that formed me. A major idea that I stumbled on in college was the way our Ancestors looked at wealth. They did not look at the accumulation of material things as wealth but looked at the amount of people you could call on and get help from as wealth. Thirdly, I noticed that all other groups that were around me, and my people. We're getting wealth as a group. In other words the idea of attaining wealth I was taught was not the true picture. So, something was off. Either I was being lied to and mis-educated or what I was seeing in the world was a big mirage. I know that I can't take everyone with me, on the road to riches. But those that are willing to do the work and see the vision should be able to move with me.

Hence this is why I am writing these thoughts down. It is time for me to plant myself, and begin moving towards wealth. And bring some of my tribe and supporters with me. My goal for 2023 is to start up a Mindset group that is fueled by the three R’s Of relationship. Those that have been around already are familiar with the concept. First, let me break down a mindset group.

Mindset Group

The Idea of a Mindset group came about from the first official group I started called M.A.C.K, (Men Acquiring Courage & Knowledge). We also had a sister organization called Goddess of the Nile. We would have intense meetings meant to get everyone on the same vibe as we called it. The mindset was a study session to make sure each member and in some cases (Wannabes) initiates got a full understanding of the organization. It was a great idea, but wrong time. We were young and it was too intense. Because we ended up burning everyone out because we met every day for months. Later on in my studies I ran across what was called rites of passage. This was a process that our people used to initiate members of the society into the ceremonie, and introduced them to the rituals of the group. Our ancestors used an intense process of initiation to pass on parts of the culture. We adopted this concept and worked with it until I developed the process we use in Gye-Nyame today. The mindset is part of this process, where members of the group can focus their mental skills, and spiritual energies on a particular goal. This process or ceremony is one of the secrets that I believe we lost. In my study, I learned that the process is called a mastermind group today. Staying true to my discovery, and my roots, I decided to continue calling it a Mind set.

This mindset group when in use by someone experienced in our culture. Can help the members create an energy that helps those involved accomplish their goals by holding the group to the three R’s (Respect. Responsibility. And Reciprocity). Each member of the group needs to respect the group and the members of the group. This means taking time to see each member clearly and be honest with them within the sacred space and time set for the group. Each member needs to take responsibility for their actions in the group, and towards the group as well as take responsibility for the pledges that are made to the group. Be willing to practice reciprocity with the group. And within the group. These simple things turn the mindset into a sacred space of power and miracles for those involved. All of our mindsets have a predetermined focus, and time limit so we don’t burn out the group members. What's incredible is that this type of group not only pulls on the knowledge of the group, but it pulls on the wisdom of our ancestors and culture.

I am sharing all this information to let you know that I am opening a “Mindset” for our supporters, and tribe members. In this Mindset we will meet once a week and I will walk you through the steps that Gye-Nyame Journey has gone through to help you begin the process of building your own online business. We will discuss and put together a plan that will help you and GNJMedia move toward wealth. The Blueprint is simple, and the best part for me is that I can begin to build wealth by helping others. Please understand we all have talents and skills that others are looking for, and the creator economy produced around 125 billion dollars last year. Where is our piece of this wealth that is out there? It is in the minds of those that are reading this email. In this Mindset that will last for 7 weeks, I will walk you through utilizing and building up your personal network, developing content, creating a place online where you can be found, taking advantage of affiliate marketing, and building your own affiliates as well. The Process is straightforward and simple but because we are approaching it as individuals rather than as a team we are not able to leverage what we have and expand our reach to the audience that is looking for us.

I believe that it is time for us in 2023 to stop looking for the gold mines around us and to begin to mine the GOLD that is between our ears. We have entered the year of Imani and it is time to have Imani in ourselves. We all have stories and lessons to pass on.

I love listening to this brother because he has a way of weaving a story with our history that moves me. I suggested that you take a little time and plug into his weekly class. My Health Journey

Of course you know that I am big on the mushrooms, and I can say nothing but good things about them. They have helped me by increasing my energy, and stamina. I will post the link to the brand I am using this week. I choose FreshCap mushrooms, because they use the fruiting bodies of the mushroom rather than the Mycelium. The fruit is the part that breaks through and forms the shape that we all know. Another brand that I use, and initially started with is OM. I had a great experience but I moved on from them because they use fruiting bodies and mycelium. I may go back but I still highly suggest them, in fact I passed some Om Master Blend on to a friend as a gift because I was telling him about mushrooms and believe om is a good place to start.

I am still growing mushrooms and here is my progress (check pic. I can’t wait to show y'all the fruiting bodies and taste them for the first time.

Also it is time that remind yall about the importance of the Microbiome, The microbiome is the collective term for the microorganisms that inhabit the body, including bacteria, viruses, fungi, and other microorganisms. Here are five reason you should study and learn about your Microbiome:

We will go deeper into looking at the microbiome in the future but please be aware of it and I will put a link so that you can checkout one of my older videos about it. I personally strive to do some maintenance of it on a daily basis. I love fermented foods, and produce my own fermented drink called “That Ambrosia”, and I am now experimenting with a drink that I call “That Ambrosia Water”, that will give me all the benefits but uses less of the fermented drinks, which makes it shippable.
